Herd of Moose

I’ve spent the last couple of days working on a custom order creating a heard of moose thank you cards. Funny story, these cards. I took a few samples of the moose I had stamps in black and white to show my client the moose options I had. We talked about me not hand coloring them. There was even a discussion about how cute they were just in black and white.  Then I got back to the studio..and...well...I couldn’t help myself. Thes moose are just so much cuter in full color.

Not only did I color the moose, but several of the cards also ended up as scenes with mountains, grass, and even some clouds.  I had a blast building these and working with new ideas. Scene building is a somewhat new technique to me.  

I used a diagonal line stencil to add a bit of an aurora effect to a few of them.  These are after all cards for an Alaskan business.  

I know my client is going to love them.  Here's a look at the finished set of 12.  I created three of each design and I think they turned out darling.
