Watercoloring with Distress Ink Refills and Perfect Pearls

Did you know that you can watercolor with your Distress Inks and reinkers?  It's true!  It's totally one of my favorite techniques.  This card was started as a way to mop up some leftover ink from a previous card.  I'm definitely in a Distress Ink phase right now.  

I wasn't paying attention when I took this photo, so all my inks are upsidedown.  Anywho... After building the background I used my favorite snowflake background stamp.  I used VersaMark ink and WOW White Pearl embossing powder.  I used matching reinkers and a bit of Perfect Pearls to watercolor the snowflakes.

I add a few sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Christmas set on a stitched circle and popped it up on foam tape.  I completed the card with a matching mat and adhered it to a grey card base.
