In January, I made Valentine's Day cards with less traditional holiday colors. I kept the negative of the hearts as they were cut from some of my precut panels. They would be the perfect size for future card fronts.
For the above Valentine's Day cards I pulled a stash of older patterned paper cut a heart for the sentiment, and added a sprinkle of sequins. I had enough of the 6x6 paper to make two of these cards.
More recently I made the card above, using the negative of the heart, over top of some patterned paper, adding a sentiment heart, and using some eyelets from my stash. While this design is clean and very simple, it has some elegance and used the heart negatives I'd been hanging onto.
