SSS Sketched Flowers - Thinking of You

Hello Lovely.  It's Tuesday and I've got a little hand colored number for you today.  I dug out my Primacolors and went to town on this card.  I love these pencils because they blend so beautifully.  I'm also completely head over heels for this Sketched Flowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  I bought it because I loved the script of the sentiments, but once I had it in person I found the flowers to be every bit as awesome.

Because I worked with colored pencil I stamped the image with my favorite black, VersaFine Onyx Black, onto Strathmore Mixed Media Paper.  I'm not gonna lie, I really wish this ink worked well with Copics because it's my very favorite black.  I colored the image using my Prismacolor Scholar colored pencils.  Once the coloring was done I die cut my panel with the usual suspect, Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp, mounted it on a creamy yellow card base and completed the card by stamping the sentiment onto a smaller stitched rectangle in the same creamy yellow which I mounted on the card front with foam tape.
