SSS Creepy Cute - Witch Kitty

Hello Lovely.  Here we are to Tuesday and day two of my week of Halloween.  I had a lot of fun using this Creepy Cute stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  This is card number two and there are more to come.  Let's get into today's card.

I started with my new favorite paper, Neenah Solar White #80 cardstock.  I cut a mask from Inkadinkado Masking Paper using my Stitched Oval dies from Simon Says Stamp.  I centered my mask on the upper part of my panel and adding some ink blending.  I used Distress Oxides in Seedless Preserves and Carved Pumpkin, adding a little bit of Black Soot around the top edge of the card.  I added a few water splatters to add texture.  I'll be honest, I had a bit of ink bleeding around the edges of my mask and the easiest way to cover it up was to add splatters of the Distress Oxide colors I used.

The Witch Cat was stamped in Gina K. Amalgam ink and I did a bit of Copic coloring to match my color pallet.  I grounded the cat by adding a bit of a shadow just under her.  I stamped the bat and the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black ink.  To complete the card I added the panel to a white card base and added a bit of Spectrum Noir Clear Shimmer pen to the kitty's hat and some silver gel pen to the buckle.
