Blocked Ink Blending & Stencils - Thank You So Much

Hello lovely.  It's Monday!  Are you ready to tackle another week?  Today I've got a few more cards using the ink blocking technique I used in Friday's post, but I added in some stenciling for a bit more detail.

I absolutely love the contrast of ink blending with black stamping, and adding the block of white really makes for a striking card.  Let's start with a white panel and mask off the bottom 1 1/2 - inches with Post-It Tape.  Note, the same pieces of tape from Friday's cards were used on these.

All of the stamping was done in VersaFine Onyx Black ink.  The "you" came from the Avery Elle Sentiments Too stamp set, the "thank" came from Papertrey Ink's Communique Sentiments mini stamp set, and the "so much" is from Honey Bee Stamps Kindness stamp set.  Don't be afraid to mix and match stamp sets to get the perfect greeting.  The Dragonfly is one of my faves, and unfortunately, I have no idea what company it's from.

To complete each card, the white panels were cut using the Stitched Rectangles die from Simon Says Stamp and matted on black cardstock before being added to white card bases.

The first ink blend is Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet, using the Simon Says Big Dots Stencil.

The second ink blend is Distress Inks in Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, and Mustard Seed, using the Echo Park Out of this World stencil.

The third ink blend is Distress Inks in Pine Needles, Evergreen Bough, and Broken China, using the retired Echo Park Mini Dots stencil.
