Stampin' Up "From the Garden" Card Set

On Day Six, I started with this large flower stamp from Stampin' Up.  I bought this stamp some time ago on eBay, after having checked out the same stamp at our library.  Yes, we have an amazing library where you can check out stamps and stamp pads, but that's a story for another time.

All of the flowers were stamped on to Bristol paper with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.  I really love the VersaFine ink, it gives a very sharp clean line image every time.

The first flower image I colored using Prismacolor Scholar colored pencils, layering color and blending as I went.  I love how smooth these pencils color and how well these pencils blend together.  These are a great quality with a lower price point if you're exploring colored pencil options.

While working on these I ordered a set of Arteza Watercolor Pencils.  I'd been looking for a new set of watercolor pencils that laid down rich vivid color.  I can say I finally found the perfect watercolor pencils.  These pencils also color like butter.

With the purchase of the Arteza Watercolor Pencils, I also picked up a set of Arteza Real Brush Pens.  I used both the pencils and the pens on a few of the cards, as both are water reactive.  This some great depth of color.

Between Day Six through Day Ten, I created eight cards.  If you'll be looking for this flower stamp, I believe it's retired and eBay will be your best bet for finding one.  I bought mine on eBay a few months ago.
